WEDECO Acton PE
Wedeco Acton PE provides guaranteed aquaculture bioprotection and maintains ideal hygienic conditions for intake, discharge and recirculation of water, ensuring the prevention of the growth of pathogenic bacteria, fungi and viruses. This ensures higher productivity, lower mortality and better fish quality.
Xylem has many years of experience in providing UV systems for aquaculture. It has been proven that UV radiation is very effective against pathogens specific to aquaculture, such as the ISA virus and Aeromonas salmonicida, without a negative impact on the quality of process water.
Features
- It is made of high-quality polyethylene HD-PE (PE 100), which does not cause corrosion and is reliable in harsh water conditions.
- The Wedeco EcoRay lamp has a guarantee of 14,000 working hours.
- Structurally, the options for installation and positions of the flanges are solved in a standard way.
- The system is completely enclosed, designed to withstand the corrosive conditions of exposure to salt water and biological elements in such environments, guaranteeing fault tolerance and stable performance in the mentioned challenging conditions, with a high disinfection rate.
- Acton PE systems use Wedeco EcoRay lamps. This technology provides high power per lamp (600W) and provides a proportionally high level of UV radiation both in dimmed mode and at high power levels, which significantly saves electricity.
- The high performance of the equipment allows the use of various standard installation options and flange positions.
- Easy to replace the lamp, no tools required.
- Due to the high power per lamp, a smaller number of them is needed and thus the need for their maintenance is reduced.
- The design, including the lamps and quartz sleeves, is tested for harsh conditions and vibration.
- Acton PE units are equipped with a unique EcoTouch controller with a convenient graphic touch panel, which can be optionally connected to SCADA systems (via a bus).
