Mechanical cleaning system.

The mechanical cleaning system with a pneumatic drive is equipped with special Teflon rings that do not interrupt the disinfection process and ensure cleaning without the use of chemical reagents. The periodicity of activation of mechanical cleaning is adapted to the quality indicators of incoming wastewater.

A variant of the WEDECO TAK 55 system for outdoor installation.

An alternative option for placing components is implemented in a compact version of the YES system. The main feature of this option is the combination of electronic ballast devices, power supply units and control in a compact cabinet made of stainless steel. This reduces operating costs and equipment costs of connecting UV lamps to ballast devices. The cabinet is installed above the channel and directly connected to the UV modules. This version of the TAK system is intended for small and medium capacity stations with restrictions on the location.

Control and management system.

The WEDECO TAK 55 system has maximum flexibility thanks to control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, as well as a data transmission system (bus connection). Each TAK system is equipped with a built-in programmable logic controller (PLC) that adapts to the customer's requirements. Depending on the specific features of the object, both local and remote control is possible.

Features
  • A modular system that can be dosed according to source water quality and discharge requirements.
  • Ecoray high efficiency UV lamp that can operate from 50% to 100% of power consumption, providing maximum energy efficiency, especially in dimming mode. The lamps are powered by the latest electronic ballast technology, which is perfectly matched to the lamps to ensure maximum lamp output and lamp life.
  • OptiDose Control – Xylem Wedeco's philosophy based on true intensity control, using a certified UV intensity sensor
  • The lamp modules of the lamps have a robust design that optimally takes into account different hydraulic conditions to ensure a long service life. The compact arrangement of the lamps allows you to concentrate energy within a small space. As a result, reliable disinfection is ensured even with large flow volumes and in drains with a low UV transmission coefficient.
  • EcoTouch or PLC control is convenient for the operator to control the UV system with SCADA communication
  • Fully automatic reagentless cleaning system. The wiping system is equipped with specially designed Teflon anti-slip rings with a pneumatic drive, the operation of which does not interrupt the disinfection process during routine work.
  • The frequency of continuous operation of the windshield wiper is easily adapted to the characteristics of wastewater.
  • Adjustable UV units with intelligent control. The system works with exactly the intensity that is necessary for reliable disinfection in specific operating conditions, which not only saves electricity, but also increases the service life of the lamps.
  • Adaptability to local conditions and performance requirements, including channel geometry and number of channels and blocks per channel. The variability of the location of the lamps and their number ensure proper disinfection regardless of the water quality.
  • The OptiDose sensor control monitors operating conditions in real time, including flow rate, transmittance and UV intensity, and uses control logic to adjust power consumption to the minimum required to meet dosing requirements. The adjustable dose is necessary to consume the minimum amount of energy.
  • Depending on the climatic conditions and the size of the technological facilities, a cooling system can be installed to protect electronic components at the request of the customer.
  • WEDECO TAK 55 lamp modules are characterized by a strong, hydraulically optimized design designed for long-term operation. A compact set of ultraviolet lamps provides a high power of ultraviolet radiation in a limited space. This ensures reliable disinfection of wastewater with a large volume flow rate and a low transmission coefficient of UV radiation through wastewater.
  • Both the location of individual lamp modules and the entire WEDECO TAK 55 system can be adapted to local conditions and requirements. The number of modules, the number of lamps in each module, the distance between the UV lamps in the module itself is taken into account, the wishes of the client are taken into account.
  • UV lamps have a long service life, can work with fluctuations in water temperature and are significantly more efficient than conventional UV lamps
  • The Spektrotherm UV lamps used have a durable coating that ensures stability of UV radiation power and a guaranteed service life of 12,000 hours. At the same time, the real service life reaches 17,000 hours. In addition, this technology avoids the presence of liquid mercury in the bulb of the lamp.
  • Currently, WEDECO Spektrotherm UV lamps are economical, reliable and durable. They are characterized by a high ratio of the power of ultraviolet radiation in the spectral range of 254 nm to the consumed electrical power
  • The high efficiency of the lamps leads to a decrease in heat generation.
  • Thanks to this, WEDECO Spektrotherm UV lamps are not prone to the formation of biological deposits on quartz covers.
  • The aging process of these lamps is slower than that of other technologies.
  • Thanks to this, the system provides a higher power of disinfecting UV radiation (compared to other systems using low-pressure UV lamps) with a maximum power consumption of one lamp of 360 W. Thanks to this, the number of UV lamps and lamp modules is significantly reduced, as well as the requirements for the location of the system are reduced.
