Application

The repeater is a two-way compact module for organizing automatic polling of counters in fixed radio networks or optimizing polling by bypassing / detouring methods.

The repeater's principle of operation consists in retransmission of received data (signal amplification and further transmission) from radio modules to SIRT radio terminals or network Web gateways located over long distances.

Stationary radio network

Features
  • Repeater: operating frequency 868 MHz.
  • The power is 100 mW.
  • Autonomous power source (lithium battery, service life up to 12 years).
  • Degree of protection IP68, operation in submerged condition.
  • Interface setting is two-way via radio channel.
  • Works together with various devices of the SensusRF radio system:

- Repeater - endpoint (eg iPERL counter).

- Repeater - repeater.

- Repeater - SIRT radio terminal.

- Repeater - network Sensus Web-gateway.

  • Intended for automatic removal of information from radio modules at specified time intervals or upon request.
  • Critical events, such as alarms, are automatically transmitted to the radio network no later than 20 minutes after the event.
  • The maximum number of radio repeaters in one signal transmission chain is 7. The maximum number of counters per 1 repeater is 298.
  • The distance between the repeater and the radio terminal (Sirt) is up to 500 meters in line of sight. Under normal conditions - 100-200 meters. In difficult conditions, for example installation in wells, up to 30-100 meters.
  • The distance between two repeaters or between a repeater and a Web gateway is 1000 meters in line-of-sight conditions.
  • Installation on a pole or wall using screws / self-tapping screws.
